What we cover

Support across the everyday systems that keep work flowing.

These are the areas we cover most often — the list is not exhaustive. If you require support with something not listed here, please get in touch and we’ll let you know honestly whether we can help.

  • Computers and equipment: setup, replacement, and practical help with physical IT equipment.
  • Office network and infrastructure: wired networking, WiFi, and network attached storage (NAS) for shared files and backups.
  • Email, domains, and VoIP: remote setup, domain management, and telephony support.
  • Maintenance: ongoing fixes, updates, and support when things need attention.
  • Custom solutions: simple improvements, integrations, and small workflow tools where they make sense.

Approach

Honest advice first.

We start with the current setup, explain what is worth doing, and point out where a simpler or staged approach will save money.

The aim is support that feels clear, personal, and dependable rather than overcomplicated.

How we bill

Pay for the work, not a subscription.

For most small businesses a monthly retainer is overkill. We charge for the work as it happens, with a clear estimate or fixed quote before each piece. When we give a fixed quote, that is the price you pay — unexpected expenses or extra time on our side do not become surprise charges.

Flexible support

Work can be phased.

If the full job does not need to happen at once, we can split it into practical steps and come back to it later as the business changes. We will also be clear about our capacity, so you know what timeline to expect before we start.

Common questions

Quick answers.

No long lock-ins. Most clients work with us on a project or ad-hoc basis. If a monthly plan makes more sense for your setup, we’ll discuss it openly.

We aim to reply to new enquiries within one working day, but we are a small team doing the work ourselves so we may not always email back straight away. For existing clients, urgent issues are handled the same day where possible during UK business hours, and we are often around beyond normal hours.

Most things we handle remotely, but where on-site help is the right call we’ll travel within the UK. We’ll always confirm if a visit is needed and what it costs before booking.

Yes — domain management, email setup, mailbox migrations, and Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace administration are all things we handle regularly.

Yes — sensible, proportionate advice on backups, multi-factor authentication, password managers, and patching. We focus on changes that actually reduce risk for a small business rather than upselling enterprise security suites.
